Pre-ban AK - The Firearms Forum

Hi folks,

Any idea what a pre-ban Norinco AK chambered in 7.62 w/a botom folding stock is worth? I'd guess it's in 95+% condition, w/excelent finish and only a couple minor dings in the wood. I do not know the SN, but I could find out if it makes any difference.

If all it righteous, they trade in the $1400 and up range.

Thanks Doc. I think I might be able to pick it up for right around $1200 - $1300, so I'm gonna go for it. She sure is pretty....and will be my first AK

Picked it up last night for $1189 w/1 30 round mag and a bayonet.

Not too bad as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks Smokin, I'll try to get a pic up in the morning.... I never thought as a pre-ban as a WMD, however that bayonet can be pretty dangerous to anything w/in a couple feet of me.... but then again, once I empty that 75 round drum mag at them, if they can get within a couple feet of me, well, umm..... I'm not even gonna go there.
