i'm lookin to make something for my 1911 shootin/testin. i know sandbags are ok, but i've burned a hole in 2 of 'em
soooo. anyone got any good home made stuff, along the lines of something like this... http://www.gunblast.com/1911_ShootOff.htm the first 2 pics on the right hand side... any ideas how to make them? i've been thinking but no ideas yet... anyone else made thier own? lets see some pics!

Not exactly what you are talking about - but here is the "rear" of a sand bag set from Cabelas. Flipped around and bracing on the slanted portion has worked for me on 1911's, revolvers, and the Ruger as shown.
I've got plans for a "1 Sheet" shooting bench somewhere's around here, I'll see if I can find them. |
