eh 5 to 7 x.

rifle cases you gota trim

mag rifle cases may not give you but 3 or 4x.

then again it depends on the gun too. I can shoot 223's in my mini 14 till i burn the necks out.

depends on cal, and gun, but for the most part i am gona say 5x.

Depends on the quality of the brass, the shape of the case, the pressure of the cartridge, whether you neck size or full length size, and the quality of the dies you use.
For instance, a 270 WSM being full length sized, I can usually load 10 times. .30BR being neck sized and using custom shop brass I can load 30 times or more.

Ive got some .45ACP cases I have reloaded prolly 20 times. Pistol cases usually last quite a while, but rifles eat brass up quicker.

Annealing can help them last even longer.

For my mid range plinking pistol ammo? till the case splits - which for .45ACP 'could' be more time than I could count.

Depends on who you are shooting. I have some 45acp brass with 10 or 12 reloads on them. I anneal all my 223 brass after 3 firings. I am at 7 reloads on my winchester brass and 4 on most of my remington brass.

It depends. My pistol brass I don't keep track of, just do a good inspection when loading it. My rifle brass I can get 10 or better, depending on the caliber.

You've gotten some good answers. Pistol cases go until the neck splits. Usually the primer pockets hold up unless you are shooting really hot stuff. Rifle brass in standard calibers can last indefinitely unless again the pressures are high. Magnum brass would fail the soonest due to the inability to resize down to the belt. I bought a die that allows you to resize down to the belt and some of my brass has been reloaded (in .300 win mag) a dozen times. In fact; I haven't thrown out any brass yet for that caliber.

Oh, yeah; headspace can play a role in how many times you reload a particular cartridge. I have one rifle, a Ruger #1 in 7mm rem mag, that has a slightly long chamber. I've lost a few pieces of brass over the years shot from that gun.

I load 'em til I lose 'em or they crack. In my experience, the nickel plated tend to give out sooner. In my reloading for handguns, it seems like 357 crack/split sooner than any of my 9, 40 or 45 cases.

I shoot hot loads with light bullets from my 6MM and I still get 15 loads from most of them. My .338 W.M. on the other hand typically won't go more than 4 loads before that belted phenomenon problem rears it's ugly head.
My HK 93 ruins brass quickly, the fluted chamber makes for a lot of tumbling and you still get ugly reloads. My .45 L.C. depends on the load, plinkers or "cowboy" loads can be up to 20, but my heavy hunting loads stretch something fearful, about 6-7 loads there.
