MARLIN MODEL 80 AGE
Iv'e got a Marlin model 80. It has a rear peep sight, no hood on front sight, and there are not any scope mount grooves on top of receiver. Any idea to the age? Also it wont pull spent cartridges from the breach. Thanks

With the 1st number(s) or prefix of the serial number, might be able to help with the date of manufacture.

If it isnt visable along side(left) of the barrel, "may" be along side of the left side of the receiver?
I'm not sure on this model and there are plenty of folks in here that for sure can tell you more about it than I can.
