Default He didn't make it.

Hey everyone, I hate to inform you all of this, but my Father was shot and killed yesterday while on patrol. They say he pushed one of his teammates to the ground behind a rock before the sniper shot. No one knows how he knew the sniper was there, but when he pushed the other person out of the way, he got hit. My Mom was going to inform everyone, but she's still crying. Bye everyone, I have to help make funneral plans.

I just got done watching an inane movie called Surrogates ( a no-thinky kind of movie).

Your post has just kicked me in the stomach incredibly hard, I've never read something quite like this.

My prayers go out to you and your family, but I would guess that God has figured out that your Dad was the good guy and he is already in heaven.

God bless your family.

Sorry. I wish I knew more about what happened. I take it he was in the military and overseas.

Again sorry to hear. On another note, did someone get the bastard?

There is no news that could be more tragic or gut-wrenchingly sad. I am so sorry.

Your dad gave his life honorably for the life of another. May that help to comfort you and your family in this terrible time of loss.

I'm shocked to hear what happened. Sounds like he died looking out for the rest of us. Sounds like a good man. Sorry for your loss.
