S&W Mod. 627 Anyone? - The Firearms Forum

I've been looking at the Mod. 627 5" 8 shot revolver on the S&W site. This is the first time I've seen anything like this. Does anyone have one, or has fired one? I'm interested in finding out more about this Model.

A friend of mine recently purchased one, and is very happy. The trigger, being from the performance center is reduced about 20%, and so far has performed well with all types of ammo.

I'm hoping that our local sports center will have one that I can hold and see if I need to start dreaming about getting one.
