While looking at Sigs, I became aware that you can change barrels to shoot a different caliber round. However, I am also under the assumption that the transitive property does not apply.
True or False? A 9mm Sig cannot be converted to a .40 and .357sig but a .40 and 357 can do all three providing the barrel is replaced. If so, I would expect problems with jamming due to parts within the pistol that are meant for the .40 caliber but are obviously being used for a different size round. Thanks in advance.......

My understanding is that a 40/357 Sig will shoot 9mm with a 9mm barrel and magazine. I have two 40 Sigs and I got 357 pipes for both of them but I am skeptical of the 9mm conversion though I have no reason to doubt it works.

Interesting,(all based on the 10mm) the .40 is a 10mm cut down, the .357Sig is a .40 necked down, so this Sig breach face is 9mm also.
Kinda a scarey......... |
