I guess the one thing I didn't consider either, don't you guys think Obama will just pardon Holder?

All politics in an election year. Won't happen. Holder offered to sit down with the speaker of the House and another high-ranking republican, privately, and discuss why he can't disclose all the paperwork. He was refused. IMO, that refusal ended it.

I'd also like to see him fired and prosecuted...but.

South Carolina Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said, "it's like pulling teeth" as he referred to Holder's refusal to release information.

"I think you are missing the fact that this is a very big deal. And you are handling it in a way that creates suspicions where there should not be," Graham said as Alabama Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions said "these leaks could very well be criminal."

Holders demeaner is like, yeah right. The man is arrogant. They might not get what they want but they can put him in a bad light.

pelosi is saying it's in retaliation for holder refusing to allow states to remove folks from their voting rolls.

All we here in Florida want, is to remove non citizens, the dead and buried, and Mickey Mouse. That's it.

SHOCK: Sharpton Blames Holder Contempt Charge On Racism

by Larry O'Connor 21 Jun 2012,

Al Sharpton can look at the tragic events of the Fast and Furious scandal that ended with the death of a border patrol agent and see Attorney General Eric Holder as the real victim.

Mr. Sharpton likened the House Oversight Committee's contempt vote on America's chief law enforcement official to the NYPD practice of "Stop and Frisk" which critics call a racially motivated police state tactic.

thank heavens for the good Reverend, if it weren't for him we would have been convinced this was about a felonious attempt by the BATFE in general and the DOJ in particular to circumvent the law when all this time it was only racism on our part.

republicans wont push this very far, they are just as dirty so the usual huff n puff goes on for awhile to try to garaner some votes this fall then it will just get swept under the carpet like anything else.

Huh?

http://www.businessweek.com/ap/2012-...ntempt-vote#p2

Gun walking/Brian Terry's death cover up isn't a republican or democrap issue...

To equate this to getting "votes" is pretty astounding to me but, everyone is entitled to their own opinion...lol

This is just a variation of Cherry Ridge and Waco. Attempts by the various administrations to justify more gun control and gun confiscation. The various liberal talking heads were very vocal about illegal gun sales UNTIL we got information that BATF were the culprits. Now their silence is deafening!
