Default Sig Pro vs. P2xx series

Seems to be about a $200-300 difference, but I don't know much about the pro series, why is it so much cheaper??
I really like the P226 that I shot, and I am going to look into it, I saw the Pro series and the price is right, but I don't really feel like going cheap on a gun I want to buy.

(I know this may be in the wrong forum, but I couldn't figure out which one it belongs in!)

The Pro Series is a composite frame and the 2XX Series are aluminum frames which require maching which makes them more expensive. Personally I like the aluminum frame pistols and have two 239's.
