We have two bucks, two does, and two fawns still in spots that come up in the yard everyday and eat corn that my wife puts out for them. They aren't near that tame though. We've never tried walking up near them. .358 you can't turn everything with four feet into sausage! Pistol, talk to him.

Absolutely ignorant. They are not doing those deer any favors by making them pets. As a supplement it's okay, but for the deer to depend on them for food is stupid. What happens when the old folks dies or can't afford the feed? The does they trained to take food from them train their offspring that food comes form the geezers, how will they survive otherwise? Answer, they won't, they will starve with food in front of them because they don't what to eat.

When I was living in Austin, Tx. deer tearing up gardens & flower beds in the outer areas of town were a big problem.
