Default if it's not too much to ask

Mom is in the hospital with the flue.

She's 85, has a pace maker, and is very frail. The Dr. says her heart is about worn out. Plain and simple.

Any prayers to get her by a bit longer would be appreciated.

Thanks.

5. Our necks [are] under persecution: we labour, [and] have no rest.
16. The crown is fallen [from] our head: woe unto us, that we have sinned!
21. Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.

Update:

Thank you all for the prayers.

My older brother talked to Mom Friday night. She told him to come get her and take her home. He said that just because he was the oldest son, he couldn't just walk in and take her home. Mom told him to go to hell.

Mom don't like hospitals. I can understand that, cuz she's spent WAY too much time there in the last few years. She's got to the point that she just wants to be done with it all. Again, I can understand.

Turns out it wasn't the flu, just a nasty cough that wouldn't let up. She wasn't able to breath for all the coughing. Her ticker is still worn out, but still kickin.

Crotchety ole woman is going home today via the best neice in the world. Love ya Christal!

Again, Thank you all for the prayers and good wishes. You folks are the best.

And one more for good measure. Sorry I missed your post before Bob, but I'll remember your mom in my prayers.
