Well I just got done eating some of the hog that I shot 2 weeks ago. It was sliced ham. I put three thick slices in a baking dish with onion, carrots and taters. I used seasoned meat tenderizer, seasoning salt, peper and some of toney's spices. Also added to packets of gravey one pork and one mushroom. Tossed it in the oven for 1 hour. Added biscuts after I pulled it out. Now there is going to be a fight for the last piece of meat that was not ate tonight.
So what did you have for supper Ray

Fresh pork can be soooo good !!! Pork was always ok, but when a friend had one of his hogs processed he gave me some "real" fresh pork...extra spicy sausage and a couple of ham steaks. The difference compared to store bought stuff is incredible !!!!!!!!!!
I've also been treated to fresh chicken, and farm eggs. Night and Day difference... mike gn

It was pizza night at my house. We had a few slices left last night but I know my son was up late on the computer and, as I got up for work this morning, I saw the box was empty and sitting in the trash.

I had Chile Relleno, rice and beans and enough chips and salsa to fill up a dump truck. We have a little mexican food place here in town that has some of the best dishes in the world. Everything is cooked from scratch. Standing room only by 6:30 pm.

X, I'm jealous! I have to look long and hard up here for good Mexican.
There is Taco Bell, Taco Time, and crap like that but a good sit down Mexican restaruant with authentic food is hard to find, being so far north. I do buy Tamales from some folks locally here in Marsing and they are great. Around Christmas I usually get 2-3 dozen and I don't SHARE!
