Default vinyl window question...

Ok... here it is.
Which of these 2 brands is better?

1. Thermastar by Pella
or
2. American Craftsman by Anderson windows ?

If it were Pella VS Anderson i would say Anderson...but its not. Its a cheaper version of Pella actually built by Pella or American Craftsman which is just merely owned by Anderson.....

Opinions Anyone?

Both brands have the (low-e)sp? coating and are Argon(sp)? filled....

Not a clue here - these are real glass windows, or plastic insurance rock bouncers? Let those that toss the first stone see their house shatter. Someone said that; can't remember whom.

I think both are cheaper versions of the original. I had some problems with Anderson (the original) a while back but have never used Pella. I guess it's like Fords and Chevys, which ine is the best?

I've only installed them, so I don't know.

Whichever one costs less is the most important detail there. Next, which one comes with a free hat? Really; just how good is customer service with each company and who has the better package when your wallet comes to bat?
