He's guilty but He WILL keep his seat ?...... any bets on what his punishment will be????????
Article, comments, & video here............. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010...ations-rangel/ I saw some of the House Ethics Committee proceedings on CSPAN.....it was 'the usual dog and pony show' with all the usual political posturing for the cameras. Here's my take on the the proceedings...... ...How the Ethics Committee conducted the proceedings; ...How Rangel conducted his defense; ....What the Committee's findings were; Any prediction/bets on the severity of his punishment??

"any bets on what his punishment will be????????
" Probably 40 lashes with a wet noodle and a "naughty boy, don't do it again" lecture.

Isn't that a bit harsh Don? 40!
![]() More than likely, he'll be chastised behind closed doors, and told to be a little more discrete next time. ![]()

he'll probably get like a suspended sentence and probably get like a year of house arrest.

They don't dare chastise him too severely as he might start telling stories about some of his cohort's dealings. Time to send him out to get a real job!

Right on that one Geezer. Rangel's been a crook for 21 terms, now. He must have stuff on everyone, like J.Edgar Hoover did. It's amazing it's taken this long to get something on him. To be censored must not be too painful for ol' Charlie. I bet he's crying all the way to the bank. TJ

Sorry Charley. Your ethics violations were so blatant that even the Democratic controled Ethics committee had to find him guilty on 11 charges out of 13. Wonder how he would have made out when the Republicans take over.
