Update to old double barrel muzzleloader from 01-22-12
If you check the 01-22-12 post in the 'What it's worth' section you will see the photos of this barrel just after it was found. The photos in this post show a couple of interesting things after it was sandblasted with #30 grit. The company name is from Germany. They were in business from the 1840's to the 1950's according to the internet.
PS The white letters were under the rust just like they are seen in the photo. All the best Pete4au |
