Default Pet .30 Carbine loads

Anybody got any?

The latest caliber or gear is no substitute for experience and skill. Rifles and cartridges don't make hits -- shooters do.

Fact of life:
After Monday and Tuesday, even the calendar says WTF!

I am using 12 gr. of H110 with a 110 gr full jacked bullit, Rem 7 1/2 small rifle primer. good results so far

This is also my load except I use CCI SR primer.

Depends on what I shoot it in.
I prefer VihtaVuori powder. 30carbine is a kinda funny round.
Not easy loading for the Blackhawk as it head-spaces, and I like a speer1805
for the pistol.
For the mini14 I like the heavier lead with a gas check (130gr .308dia)
Still never seem to be able to get the 'crack' out of it.....
it is loud in a 7.5" bbl

I remember making this thread. I had just bought a molested Inland GM at a pawnshop. Wife took it away from me cuz it fit her. I did find a sweet shootn load with 90 gr hornady XTPs. 16 gr H110 for 2300 fps and perfect shrooms in teh 100 yd water barrel. I did a thread on it too.

I miss that rifle
