Default Happy Birthday........

.....to my dad. He has been gone for 26 years. He taught me how to work hard and taught me right from wrong and to respect others at an early age and bought me my first shotgun when I was 8 years old. Hunting and fishing were top priorities with him and my two brothers since my mother had passed away when I was but 4 years old and he never remarried. He was a farmer by trade and it wasn't always very profitable but we always had something to eat even through hard times. There was always enough money to buy us our first cars or pickups and the things we needed, though. He saw that my brothers and I graduated high school and even went on to see a few years of college, although none of us saw that through. He worked up until he just couldn't go anymore and Mrs muley and I moved him in with us for a few years. Then one morning Mrs muley came to me outside and was crying and simply said, "Papa won't be getting up this morning".
He would have been 100 years old today.......So please wish him a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY....Thanks.

If he enjoyed farming, he may still be doing it in another place...
I've had dreams about my grandfather doing that up in heaven.
