Default RCBS Kinetic Bullet Puller Giveaway - WINNERS!!!

Any new or old reloaders out there that don't have a kinetic puller? I have a RCBS puller with the plastic still on it. Not sure where the label went to, but hey, it works and it's a good A&R forum giveaway.

20+ posts works for me on this one and I'll give everyone equal footing, ie - no double entries for contributors this time.

I've been going through my reloading stuff trying to dig out some 30-30 brass for duffman and found it. I've got 3 already....

Good Luck !

Woolley

Silvertip44 has also donated a used, but very usable green hammer also! I'll draw two winners!

Count me OUT, as my current puller works just fine. I'll "stick" this thread at the top for you, though.

Count me in please! My old puller is missing all but one of the adapters so I can only use it on 9mm/.38.

I don't want to enter, cause I have one. I wanted to comment on the quality of the RCBS puller. Whoever wins it will get a good piece of equipment. I have been using mine for over 30 years and I have beaten it on every thing from wood to granite and it is still holding up just fine. It might break into a thousand pieces tomorrow but I have gotten my money's worth out of it!

If it does break, I will add my name to the list of entries!!

I'm new to reloading and I was needing to add one to my reloading setup. I was showing my brother how to seat a bullet in a case and boy did he put the crimp down on one of my 357 bullets. So much he crinkled the brass case. Jezzz I told him he didn't have to strong arm it. So this will be my first bullet removal.

Welcome to TFF Harleyrider! A kinetic puller may not be enough to pull that bullet. Hopefully it was a practice bullet and there's no powder. For tough crimped bullets, often it takes a collet puller to get them.

No it was not a practice bullet. It was a 125gr Hornaday XTP. It was going to be shot at a practice target to see how my reloads handled. The bullet is at normal postion and the crimp looks ok. The brass case is the only thing that has a few wrinkles in it. I'd post a picture but I'm not home I'm at work using my time wisely.

my wrinkled case. What do you think Kinetic Bullet Puller or collet puller?

With a very heavy crimp, it may take a collet puller. I'd say that the crinkle occured due to case length being a little longer than the others that you reloaded or the die being adjusted a little too low.

I always load a few dummy loads with any new load that I'm doing. Much easier to scrap a case than it is to scrap a loaded round. ( I've done it myself a few times, just had to figure it out the hard way, )

A kinetic puller is still great to have around, I'm sure you'll have your post count up a little by the end of the month.
