Default A new show on ShowTime

"Lock & Load"

I found this on another forum and it's got my curiosity antennas twitching.
It's a new show on Showtime about a gunshop / range full of hidden cameras.
It looks interesting, but it also shows some unsafe gun handling and probably will show some less than perfect customers, I'm guessing.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7z2CSJUK8GA&feature=fvw

I need spies.

I, being a cheap sum of an itch , don't have Showtime or any of the other movie channels, Sooo, I need spies.

I'm interested in how this show is used / presented. Pro gun? Anti gun?
I, like most of you, I'm sure, have very little trust or faith in the media or Hollyweird.
Thus, I need spies to keep us posted on what's going on with this show.

Hey Art, I have showtime and I just set Lock and Load to be recorded on Wed night. I will post a review once I watch it.

maybe it's just me but the first thought that came to mind was great another anti-gun program. can't help but think this will be slanted to put gun owners in a bad light.

Alright so I watched the show and I must say I like it. The premise of the show is a family owned gun store sets up four hidden cameras and records their interactions with the public. I think they have to get consent after the fact because they do show faces and what not. The owner is a really out going guy and very friendly. He does ask the right questions of people and on several sales he made sure that the customers tried many guns for feel.

The customers ranged from a grandma like lady who was not only carrying a concealed gun, but also a couple knives to a younger guy who owned his own business in a bad part of town who wanted some protection. All in all it really showed firearms owners in a normal light.

There were women shoppers, families shopping together, it was very much just a slice of America. I will continue to watch the show and I think it is an honest representation of gun owners.

I did find a preview for the show on youtube which I put below:
