Default .22 CB Shorts

i got a real shocker yesterday. went to get a box of 50 of .22 CB shorts and found out they were $7.35/box of 50. what happened? is there now a shortage of .22 cb shorts? i bought a box of 50 back in june of this year and they were less than $3. talk about inflation! and the store only had 2 boxes in stock and they could not tell me when more would be available. called around and could not find them anywhere else. what's going on here?

Keep the chamber loaded, if ya can afford it!
