Wife & I were given a Winchester model 61 by 98 year old father inlaw. Serial # 239xx, round barrel, Weaver .22 Tip Off scope, drilled & tapped receiver, Ranger recoil pad, receiver bluing 99% with 2 scratches (< 1/2" L), barrel bluing 95%, magazine tube bluing 0%, wood 90%. Father inlaw says he acquired it used in 1941. I would like to know the approx. year of mfg. and value. Father inlaw says it has had <100 rounds shot since he acquired it. I replaced the action bar to correct a cartridge cutoff problem.
