Default Prayer request

The unthinkable happened. Last nite I had to take my dear wife to the hospital. She has suffered a small stroke and is currently undergoing intensive testing to discover the cause, effects and prevention of future strokes. We were exceptionally fortunate that a wonderful neurologist lives across the street from us and he has been very attentive. Prayers are needed and much appreciated!

Prayers for a speedy recover and for the doctors insights into the cause. Hope you get some answers and your wife safely back in your arms again very soon.

21. Turn thou us unto thee, O LORD, and we shall be turned; renew our days as of old.

Very sorry Gun Geezer, My wife & I will keep you and yours in our prayers. You need to take care of yourself too as she will need you in her recovery.

I do know what you are going through as my wife has been going through a pretty ruff time with health issues. The important thing right now is for you to stay strong and keep your faith in order, the best thing you can do for her at this time is STAY STRONG!

Heavenly Father, I come before you this morning with a request.

I ask, Lord, that you would show mercy to this lady.
I ask that you would give her a healing touch.
I ask that each day, starting today, her condition would be improved.
I ask that this improvement would continue until she is completely back to full activity, both mental and physical.
You are the Great Physician, Lord, and I place all of this in your hands, trusting you to handle it.
I also ask that you would keep your hand on her husband, that you would strengthen himduring these most difficult times of his life.
I ask that you would be with all of her family and friends, giving strength to each one of them, and assurance that YOU are in control of all things.

And I ask all of these things in the name of Jesus the Christ, the Alpha and the Omega.

Amen -

Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes! My wife has spent the last 2 days going through a battery of tests and medical procedures to try and determine the cause of what is being called a minor stroke. She just now woke up from what she hopes will be her last procedure. This one was to see if any additional clots were forming at the back of her heart. Couldn't begin to spell the name. She should be able to come home later today or tomorrow. Hospitals are such dreadful places.
