Hey all -
We are trying to organize a "National Buy A Gun Day." This is to show just how many gun owners there are in the country to the national lawmakers who have more than lost touch with what an American stands for. Please spread this to any other forums you are on. The website should be up shortly. April 18th 2009 is the day to vote with our wallets. It doesn't matter if its a $85 Mosin, as long as you buy a gun ![]() I would appreciate any help from the moderators in the form of an announcement/sticky. Mike

Sadly, the selection is starting to wane...
Good in theory though.

Oh yes! Crate of ___ caliber ammo day! That's just the thing. Every day should be Buy A Gun Day though.

Gees, aren't you worried about the murders of all those inocent drug runners in Mexico? What kind of person are you? You make me sick! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() seriously, i hear ya. if there is anything left to buy

Sounds like a good idea, but will there be enough firearms in stock for everyone to purchase in one day? Gun dealerships across the nation would have to know about such a day, but then again, how many people will actually go out and purchase a weapon especially with our drop in economy? Not to say that the majority of the people won't purchase a firearm. At least if it did really become a day, gun dealers could exploit it to make more sales kind of like valentines day, but it could help our current situation with our second amendment.

Seeing as how there are no guns left to buy, there is no need for a national buy a gun day.

Very true. I inquired about a DPMS rifle today and was told there is a 6 month wait.

I am a little surprised you didn't choose April 19 as the day. The correlation of that historic day and buy a gun is strong.

I might buy one on that day, but I don't need a particular day to buy a gun. I bought one last week, and I bought one the week before that, and I might buy one next week.

I pledge to buy a gun April 18. I also pledge to buy as many guns as I can untill then. For the last 2 years I have bought at least 1 gun per month and sometimes more. People please buy as many guns as you can. Guns are a safe investment. With the rising prices of guns and ammo, they will be the thing bringing top dollar. It will be the U.S. citizens that will protect our home land. I think we all see where the government is taking us....
