AM LOOKING TO PURCHASE A SWEET 17 BSA SCOPE THAT IS A MACH II 412X40 THE LISTING ON THE BSA WEB PAGE HAS ONE THAT IS A MACHII AND A MACH II A/O , WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE OR WHAT DOES THE A/O MEAN??

Hi Reaper69.....welcome to TFF.

AO or A/O stands for Adjustable Objective. It means that the rifle-scope is equipped with a focusable objective lens to allow for parallax correction at various user-selected ranges. To be parallax free, the target must be located at the distance for which the scope is focused.
