I have 1 main weapon and would like any info on it I can get. It is a government mocel c118149. on the other side it has the standard pat. numbers and colts ptfa mfg. co. above the trigger the letter A is stamped twice. this gun is in good condition and I was offered $350.00 for it. Any info you can give me would be a big help as I don't know anything about guns!

Any Colt 45 is worth a lot more than 350. Post some pics.

I will try in the next day or so. My camera and my ability with it and the puter may hold me back a bit.

You have a Colt Government model made in 1915, sold in the civilian market. The AA mark means Augusta Arsenal, Augusta, Georgia. The price you were offered seems low but without seeing a picture, it's impossible to give an honest value.

AA on a GI gun would indicate it was rebuilt at Augusta Arsenal, but a civilian Colt Government Model should never have been at any Arsenal. We need pics and any more info you may have.

Was the 350 offer from a ''friend'' and if so they are robbing you. Be careful of friends like that.
