This concerns a letter co-written by a large number of scientists, asking for proof of man-made climate change.

Here is the significant climate physics news for today.

Some 140 atmospheric scientists have sent the following open letter to the UN. Their letter is clear. It says the eco-activists who promote human-caused climate change have not produced any evidence that our CO2 causes climate change. According to the scientific method, carbon dioxide is innocent until proven guilty.

In fact, several of these scientists have made a solid case against human-caused climate change. Gerhard Gerlich and Ralf Tscheuschner calculate that doubling atmospheric CO2 will actually decrease global temperature, although by a very small amount because the CO2 concentration is small to begin with.

George Chilingar and Leonid Khilyuk calculated the same result while also explaining why Venus is hot - not because it has a high CO2 content but because it has 20 times the air mass as the earth. They show that replacing all N2 and O2 molecules on our atmosphere with CO2 molecules would actually cool the earth. More CO2 will cause cooling because CO2 has three atoms while O2 and N2 have two atoms. Their physics is valid while the IPCC greenhouse gas hypothesis is not.

The scientists who signed this open letter are the ones you should believe. Don't believe statements by organizations. Believe the statements signed by real scientists who put their names and reputations on line as you see here.

Read this statement carefully. Forward it to your politicians. Demand they give this statement far more credibility than the IPCC reports. Demand your politicians vote according to this Open Letter.

Dear Secretary-General,

Climate change science is in a period of 'negative discovery' - the more we learn about this exceptionally complex and rapidly evolving field the more we realize how little we know. Truly, the science is NOT settled.

Therefore, there is no sound reason to impose expensive and restrictive public policy decisions on the peoples of the Earth without first providing convincing evidence that human activities are causing dangerous climate change beyond that resulting from natural causes. Before any precipitate action is taken, we must have solid observational data demonstrating that recent changes in climate differ substantially from changes observed in the past and are well in excess of normal variations caused by solar cycles, ocean currents, changes in the Earth's orbital parameters and other natural phenomena.

We the undersigned, being qualified in climate-related scientific disciplines, challenge the UNFCCC and supporters of the United Nations Climate Change Conference to produce convincing OBSERVATIONAL EVIDENCE for their claims of dangerous human-caused global warming and other changes in climate. Projections of possible future scenarios from unproven computer models of climate are not acceptable substitutes for real world data obtained through unbiased and rigorous scientific investigation.

Specifically, we challenge supporters of the hypothesis of dangerous human-caused climate change to demonstrate that:

Variations in global climate in the last hundred years are significantly outside the natural range experienced in previous centuries;

Humanity's emissions of carbon dioxide and other 'greenhouse gases' (GHG) are having a dangerous impact on global climate;
Computer-based models can meaningfully replicate the impact of all of the natural factors that may significantly influence climate;
Sea levels are rising dangerously at a rate that has accelerated with increasing human GHG emissions, thereby threatening small islands and coastal communities;
The incidence of malaria is increasing due to recent climate changes;
Human society and natural ecosystems cannot adapt to foreseeable climate change as they have done in the past;
Worldwide glacier retreat, and sea ice melting in Polar Regions , is unusual and related to increases in human GHG emissions;
Polar bears and other Arctic and Antarctic wildlife are unable to adapt to anticipated local climate change effects, independent of the causes of those changes;
Hurricanes, other tropical cyclones and associated extreme weather events are increasing in severity and frequency;
Data recorded by ground-based stations are a reliable indicator of surface temperature trends.
It is not the responsibility of 'climate realist' scientists to prove that dangerous human-caused climate change is not happening. Rather, it is those who propose that it is, and promote the allocation of massive investments to solve the supposed 'problem', who have the obligation to convincingly demonstrate that recent climate change is not of mostly natural origin and, if we do nothing, catastrophic change will ensue. To date, this they have utterly failed to do so.

The UN conference on Climate Change in Copenhagen has turned into a fiasco.

They CLAIM they 'accidentally' registered 30,000 people to attend the conference, while the Bela center where it is being held only holds 15,000.

They are now in the process of picking and choosing who gets in.

The UN is drawing criticism for this mess.

BUT -

The UN can now choose, with PERFECTLY VALID REASON, to exclude half of the registrants.

I am betting Fox News will not get a person inside the building.
Nor any other group that is critical of 'the sky is falling and it's our fault' crowd.

Hey, did any of you watch Jesse Ventury's Conspiracy Theory Wednesday night? It was on global warming, and he talked to several folks that shot it full of holes.
He did a number on Al Gore, who he identified as a FRIEND of his. He exposed Hurah, the company making carbon-tracking software that stands to make between 100 and 500 billion dollars from the climate scare - and he identified Al Gore as a principal interest in this company.
He is doing a good job with this, and I hope he keeps it up; he even brought out some stuff that I did not already know, and I am a conspiracy nut!

After watching Gore's movie, It really made me depressed. I knew it was getting warmer (the winters and ice were definitely receding and I experienced MUCH colder winters from the late 1940's thru the 1960's. So, it seemed Al Gore was unto something. It seemed the vast number of scientists agreed so it was hard to dispute. HOWEVER, now it seems there is more and more arguments against his "theory" of CO2 being the main culprit. Damned if I know for sure BUT, its going to be below freezing for at least the next 10 days and we've had temps. in the teens for the last week so I am VERY HAPPY! The ponds are freezing up and if it continues we'll definitely have ice for ice fishing and skating.
I would like nothing better than to know the global warming is BS. I am actually starting to feel better allready!

Perhaps when the full extent of the Global Warming scam is known it will be totally owned by Nancy, Al and the Democrat Party.
