Default Do you feel the adrenaline when you add a new firearm to your collection. My new S&W

Its always nice when you add a new firearm to your collection.
Here is my new Smith & Wesson that I just picked up a couple of hours ago. How do you feel when you pick up a new firearm. Do you feel the adrenaline?

Yep I do! Congrats on your new shooter Remington597!!! The only thing that makes me mad/sad...is when the shooter gets here before the ammo...

This was intended as a pun for LTS; one of those bite me's.
This is nothing more than a Trinity River Trout line Weight but,
since you asked: this weapon is a seizure from a local law enforcement entity, used in a double homicide, suicide by two gay
lovers and their Mother. Honest Injun!

This weapon, a Smith & Wesson M&P 38 was used in a suicide by a prominent business person who found their significant other having an extra marital affair with the same gender, consiquently,
the individual took their life.
What a waste of human life. There is in my personal and profesional oppinion that we should be so weak to waste God gift of life for the sins and transgressions of another.

I get spooked with ex-murder weapons. Had one when I was young, bought it off an ex-sherrif. He said if I ever sold it sell it back to him...he copped it off a judge.

So, a month later he got it back.

Then a local elderly neighbor lady came by the house and offered a Colt .32 acp pistol to me. said it was the gun her husband shot himself with...I politely declined.

Kind of makes you wonder about all the dozens of handguns I owned in over a half century how many were used in a homicide or suicide. Spookey.

A gun's history sure has an impact on future ownership. I agree. How it was used and by whom, has alot to do with some people's perception and acceptance of them.
I know a Jewish gun dealer who will not deal in Walthers and other German guns due to his principals ,etc. as well as certain American POWS who were held by the Japanese, who will not even lay eyes on a Japanese weapon.
I approach it more from a historic standpoint. Although it would be hard to own a weapon that was used in a violent crime ,etc.
Although it is somewhat hypocritical on my part when I think about it, because I always preach that guns are inanimate objects and that people are the responsible parties, but then again, we are only human. A gun's pedigree is something totally different. , Although my grandfather was wounded by the Nazis in World War II, it would be hard to resist a Kriegsmarine Luger held by Admiral Dornitz. Afterall, as said earlier, history tends to overide certain things, As long as we are conscious of history and remain patriotic Americans and guided by Providence, we can't fail there.
