THIS PISTOL BELONGED TO MY GRANDFATHER. HE WAS THE COLT, REMINGTOM ARMS SERVICE AGENT IN SMITH COUNTY TEXAS HIS ADDRESS WAS IN tYLER TEXAS. MY FATHER WAS BORN IN 1910. I WOULD LIKE SOME INFO ON A TRUSTED GUN SMITH IN THE HOUSTON TEXAS AREA. THE GUN DOES NOT STAY COCKED SO IT NEEDS REPAIR BUT NOT TO DEVALUE THE PEICE. Once you get some pictures I am certain someone will be able to tell the value. In the meantime check out this site. I don't know whether they do repairs, but they are in your neighborhood and could direct you to someone local to look at fixing your revolver.
