Default XD and XDM magazines?

i am a Marine stationed in California but i am a resident of Georgia. from what ive read and been told i can have my springfield XDM in california just not the 16rd magazines. would a XD 10rd work on my XDM?

Only the 45's will interchange between XD and XDm. Since its a 16 round mag then I'm guessing its a 9 then no they won't interchange.

16 rd be a .40. XDM 9mm holds 19.
And Helix is right, the 9s and the .40s wont interchange between the XD and the XDM

well thanks. i was just trying to see if i could put the 10rd from the XD in my XDM so i could have it in california.

of the ones here people block the magazine to 10rd. you can bring the magazines with you just disassemble them.
