Vicks works well to cure toenail fungus, just rub a little on the nail each nite for two weeks and the fungus will disappear!!! Much cheaper than Lamosil and it doesn't ruin your liver!!!

Got cramps in bed??? Believe it or not a couple slices off a bar of soap placed by your feet and no more cramps! Try it if ya think Im kidding!!!
Dr Gott says so!!

One note of caution if your a bed wetter be prepared for a bubble bath!!!

Wart Remover
Put soem good quality duct tape on a wart - sticky side to wart - and repeat for a week or so. It'll kill it as fast as any OTC product.

Home Made Cough Syrup
1 cup clover honey
juice from 2 lemons
juice from 1 orange
1/2 cup peppermint schnopps
1/4 cup whiskey
Instructions: Heat honey untill warm and runny - remove from heat
Stir in lemon and orange juice
mix in schnopps and whiskey then chill in refirgerator until cool.
Keep in refrigerator when not in use.

I take 2 tablespoons and it licks my coughs.

Not for use with kids....Don't mix drugs and alchocol....

well my recipes are only for those brave ones with a steady and carefull hand - or for those that does not expect the recipes to act the way it does. (then when they find out, they won't do it again).

Never did have any reason to go to a doc or physician.

hiccup cure
Put a wood pencil (point down) in a glass of water.
Drink water.
Works for me.

Sunburn, either apple cider viniger or take a real hot shower, heat draws heat.

Welding flash burns to the eyes, cut a potato in half and sleep with the cut side over your eyes all night. Next mourning the potato will be black but eyes will feel much better. I know been there, done it many times.

Chapped lips, stick a finger up a cows butt, rub in lips, and you will not lick them any more so they will heal!!!

I say any old animal will do!

Get a cut on your hand, let a dog lick it. It will heal faster.

To stop blood flow in the woods in a serious wound, the native Americans would use buzzard down. It worked according to many first hand accounts that I have read in reference books of that time period.

Tooth ache, take some pepper finely ground and put on/into the tooth that huts. Salt will also help dull the pain as well.

If you eat something that is too spicey hot that you cannot stand it, stick a tea spoon of sugar in your mouth. The sugar will neutralize the spice.

My late Grandmother was full of "wives tale" remendies and passed many down to me.

Aching joints:

For fast,temporary relief,just rub in some WD40.

For long term "preventive maintenance",when eating chicken(assuming you eat chicken on a fairly regular basis),be sure to eat the cartalage(sp)on the bones.It contains a lot of Collagen(sp),which has been proven to help re-build joint tissues.

Ask me how I know.

Soaking you feet in Listerine every night for a while works well for this also.

Clove oil is a natural anesthetic and antibiotic. It works particularly well on toothaches. We used to carry a small vial with our suture kits in our covert first aid packs.

Stinging Nettle tea is good for bladder infections. Both to hasten cure and as a prophylactic.
