I would put a finish [poly-urethane ?] on the bench top and add a piece of trim on the front edge.
Looks nice and useable, now load and clutter it up.....

you guys are giving me bench envy..

the last 2 weeks I've not loaded a single round.. I've only worked on my bench and relaodign blocks and cleaned brass.

last m\night my wife actually walked in, thru her hands up and exclaimmed that I was playing with 'bullits' again.. and sh wished I'd go back to gun collecting so she could have me back

she knows how to shoot. well even.. just doesn't find it fun.

she forgets that she can set down with her musical instruments and play for 6 hours and not relaize time goes by.. and that I'm just the same with my hobbies..
