I wouldn't. It may be safe to do it occasionally, but I'm leery of shooting +Ps in any alloy framed pistol.....especially compacts.

And.....an alloy framed compact will be quite a handful with high powered rounds such as +Ps.

If you don't mind me asking, what in the world are you talking about? (+p)?

Marlin T.....+p ammunition is commercial ammunition loaded to higher than normal pressures.

I try to stick with the Manufactor's recomendation.(That way it ain't my fault if the gun breaks) Except for a .410 in a .45

I know my Glock 36 does not like it!!
I bought a box of Corbon 185gr +P, and took it to the range to test.
It would not feed!!
When I did get it to feed, the recoil through that light framed, short barrel was to fierce for it to be of any use as a defensive load!!

I believe the difference between standard and +P loads in .45acp is 2,000 psi, so my guess would be that an alloy-framed gun can handle it.

Your best bet would be to ask Smith & Wesson.

If it can't....get a Glock.
