The U. S. Sportsmen’s Alliance has drawn the ire of the nation’s largest animal rights group, the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), due to the Alliance’s campaign to inform the public about PETsMART Charities’ $15,000 contribution to the anti-hunting organization.

Anti-Hunting Bill Also Bans Trapping in Illinois
Recently introduced legislation in Illinois aimed at banning hunting in enclosures would also ban trapping across the state.

Court Rules Federal Licensing of Private Dog Breeders Not Prudent

A U.S. Court of Appeals has ruled that only “wholesale” dog breeders should be subject to federal licensing and inspection. Animal rights groups had brought the lawsuit, which demanded that all persons selling dogs be federally licensed.
