In my opinion they have no idea what the world is doing.....they can't even predict the weather right for next week and they think they can figure out the warming/cooling chit...

arghhhh

it's such a money/power grab and the biggest hoax of the century!

Thanks to Al friggin Gore, and his crackpot scientists!

I don't think anyone knows what's really going on. One person says one thing, someone else says another thing. I walk outside. If it's cold, I put on more clothes, a coat, a hat. If it's hot, I wear shorts and a t-shirt and roll the windows down.

You go outside?

I just look out the window.

Around here, unless the radar is clear as far as it can see, they can't predict one day to the next.

Mom taught me many years ago (learned from her parents), if you can 'see' Mt Ranier, and it has a a cloud layer lying over the top, it will rain within 3 days. In all my 52 years, this has never failed me.

Stuff happens at 14,000 feet that radar can't predict.

I don't need Al to try and tell me something different. I don't need the IPCC to tell me about global warming when we finally got above freezing for the last week. This is mid/late January weather.
2 years ago we had snow in APRIL fer cryinoutloud! APRIL? SNOW? SEATTLE?

The 1st part of this year, the city came to a screaming stop due to record snowfall and low temps. NO ONE saw it coming 24 hours in advance.

How did that old margarine saying go?

It's not nice to try and fool mother nature.

All these 'scientists' suffer from tunnel vision.

Absolutely..

My 82 year old grandma told me the same thing.

when Mt Ranier wears a hat, its going to rain..

Might I add one thing....

How far in advance did they predict this current cold snap?

Some report it's going to be hotter than ever, and others report it's going to get colder. They still don't know what the hell is going on.

One fact, though... we now have the highest recorded level of C02 levels of the world's existence. What that'll cause is anybody's guess. They, again, don't know.

More plant life!
That means more oxygen!
Which leads to more CO2, and more O2!
It's a Win Win!

Where does the most diverse wildlife exist? Temperate rain forests.

Why? Nature says so.

History says warmer is better than cooler when it comes to biodiversity.

Seems Al is not so good at history. Sadly, there's no exchange of cash involved.

Global cooling is not an option. Can't make any money off of that.

Truth is, the planet is cooling.

Are there carbon credits for burning wood? How does one 'offset' them?

In a cooling phase, will we get credits for using our fireplace? Coal? Oil?

Will we be penalized for using wind, solar, geothermal, and hydro?

Give it time folks. Someone will figure out a way to make it your fault and make you feel guilty for being part of the problem.

Donations for the fight against global cooling theories can be made to me.
PM for details.

And thanks for you contribution. It will help save the planet.
