I hear Stag is a fine weapon. But, I'll stick with my Colt.

Just buy a lower (No FFL required and it's ambidextrous) and buy the lefty upper through an FFL and you get a good, working, rifle.

The lower is the part which requires the FFL.
Stag Arms lower - $260 comes with 1 year warranty Stag Arms upper - $615 Total - $875 Stag Arms complete gun -$1095 So I gives them a call and ask why the big difference in price. He says it is because of the 11% tax on complete firearms. The complete rifle also comes with a hard case, t-shirt, magazine, bumper sticker, and lifetime warranty. I have not decided which way I am going to order it. There is a $220 savings if I order them seperate- but the lifetime waranty is attractive and I like the idea of having the Stag hardcase. I am a cheap bugger so I will probably order them seperate. |
