Hey Yoop, I don't load for the 300 RUM, but I hate to see a post go unanswered.
Here is some data for it in 165 grain, you can go up or down from there, but it might be a good place to start. And maybe someone can better answer your question than me. http://www.nosler.com/Reloading-Data...65-Grains.aspx .....and if you're loading up ammo for "skybuster"....load lots, he has a heavy trigger finger. ![]()

Yooper, I was just browsing threads and saw yours. If you are still interested in load data for your 300 RUM, then maybe this will help.
I have found that my 300 RUM shoots the most accurately and consistantly with 165 Nosler Ballistic Tip bullets and 101.5 grains of Retumbo. It hurts to pull the trigger after about 5 shots, but those 5 shots are all inside of a nickel at 200 meters. Hope that helps. |

Not that many people want to abuse the dog poo outa their shoulders ![]() I have shot Bluesea's 300RUM and the load is an excellent load. The recoil isn't too darn awful, but sure isn't comfy for long.
