Question New Toy

I've got a bit of a problem!
I want to purchase a new gun for my collection and shooting pleasure. But can't decide which one:

Sig GSR .45 (1911).....(have a Wilsonized Colt 1991A1 custom)

Daewoo K1 (pre-ban)....(have a DR200)

MP5 clone (civillian)

Benelli M1 shotgun

Which of these should I get and why?
Which shouldn't I get and why?

Thanks!

I have a glock 19. I'm more of a 1911 fan than a glock nut.
The glock is a great gun in many ways, but I just can't deny the feel of real steel!..hehehe

Thanks for the welcome!

I'm pretty much set on one from my list, just not sure of which one? any more input is appreciated.

Have you tried high capacity Shotgunning?

With 12ga 3" mags it can be a little hard on the shoulder, but it is fun in my opinion..

My vote is for the Sig., but if you can afford it, why not get them all.

Given the "i've already got" parts of the list, I'd opt for the benelli. There is not shotgun on the list and the civie MP5 is nothing more than a "fun gun." The M1 packs much more versitility.

(plus, I've got a M1 - great gun - and if youhad the Mp5 I'd be jealous!!!)

Shot the full-auto MP5 over the weekend.

IMHO, inaccurate POS compared to the Thompson M1A1 that we also shot. Stock was too high to get proper sight alignment with the open sights, especially with earmuffs. Once I swapped to earplugs, I could get the sights aligned okay, but it didn't shoot anywhere near as accurately as the Thompson, even in single-shot mode. Trigger was heavy and creepy.

I'd rather go with a Thompson in semi-auto than an MP5. Sure, it's a few pounds heavier, but not that bad at all. Besides, it FEELS right to me. YMMV.

Thanks for the input and the warm welcomes guys

I've now narrowed my decision:

SIG GSR .45

Daewoo K1

Man it's hard to decide, and because of the price of these guns I can only afford one

Daewoo, very slick rifle.....just don`t break it---parts are very hard to come by.

Hey, ya want my used Glock.....only fired once.
