oh, we picked up mojo (on the couch) at a local gas station. Apparently, he gets out of yard alot and goes there for hotdogs. They didn't have anything to tie him up with, but as of right now the owner hasn't tried to contact us.

Hey Jon,

The Piece of sheet family that lived across the street from me got evicted about 4 months ago.

2 days after they were gone I see the guy walk behind the house

same thing 3-4 days later

about a week after that he come over & asks can he use my hose I said Sure & he fills up a 5 gal bucket. (They Shut off the Water there)

Im like Hummmmmmmmmmmmm

So I go look when he left

Heres his dog tied on about a 5ft rope tied to a closeline pole (IN THE SUN)

& a cat in a cage (ITS PREGNANT)

Well I was NOT having it!

The cat had her kittens & were all given away (We named her MOMMA KITTY She lives here now & been Spaded

Ashley told us the dogs name was "FAITH" He lives here now to.

last week $1000.00 his eyes kept getting this crud covering them & everyday needed a warm wash cloth to clean them twice a day.

Plus he had worms & other issues

The Vets bill woulda been $1500.00 but once they found out the story they made it 1K

Do I have an Extra GRAND NOPE but Im NOT letting him Suffer

If this piece of crap ever comes back---I hope Im not home cause I may end up in JAIL!

How can people be so dayum Crul?

We thought they took them with them,,, SCUMBAGS thats all I can say!

What I know is there Lov'in life now I have a Huge yard & a doggie door for mine dogs to get into an AC room.

He Eats good & Momma Kitty well shes a Sweety wants to be in your lap 24/7
THERE HAPPY NOW

Sorry about the Rant

All of my 'friends' are rescues and have been for many years.
They help us more than we help them.

Mojo will be going to a friends house, since we already have three dogs. But he will not be left wanting anything.

Every dog i ever had has been a rescue. Too many good dogs need homes. And they love you for taking care of them.

I helped at a horse rescue for a while, and then found a filly out in the country that needed saving. She got the better part of me by the time I got her home. 5 busted ribs and and a lot of groundwork she turned out to be a good horse.

It's good to see such humanitarians as you/us, that don't ignore those that are abused or can't fend for themselves . I have a friend (no, really I do ), his father is an animal lover. He currently feeds 60 cats and dogs in 3 counties that the owners can't afford to but love their pets. He also has 2 retirement checks and social security coming in every month.

My wife and I were volunteers for the Sun Coast Sea Bird Sanctuary on the Gulf coast. We had a large pet carrier, salves and other supplies to treat birds that had been caught up in fishing line/hooks/sinkers, etc. If the birds were injured beyond what we could handle, we'd take them to the sanctuary. Treated hundreds over the five year period.

Patients were Pelicans ( 95% ), Sea Gulls and Cormorants ( MEAN suckers ).

Most enjoyable relationship.

The stray dog we rescued from a Boy Scout camp, before the Ranger shot her, has been a great addition to the family. She is very grateful - I have no idea what kind of life she lived before she was dumped at the camp - but she is very appreciative!

Strangest thing is her behavior - she acts more like a cat than a dog!

Hey RAVEN I to in my years @ the Docks saved afew Pelicans

& I agree I loved it,
We had one had a tear in his Pouch 6" He woulda Died drop a bait in it fell out,

Me & a guy named Geno sewed him back up with dentil floss I held him Between my knees wings tucked & hands on bill.

After he was done we were gonna put alittle mecuricome he Freaked & Geno spilled it all over him.

He was like the Ugly duckling BUT he could eat & live.

I SWEAR for 2 years he hung around,,while I would lure other birds with lines
& hooks in them & he would fly over & land on my covering boards,

& I allways droped a bait in,,, He LOVED LIVE baits & I had them @ times It finaly wore off but he was SOOOOO Cool.

LOL we called him "R E D "

One hasn't lived until a Pelican, overhead, has christened them.

both of our dogs and all 3 cats are rescues.
Max, our golden ret/lab mix is very good. he is normally friendly but when someone has ill intentions he is ready to protect. not to mention how the wife trained him, he can even turn lights on and off on command.
