My wife's Mom passed away early January 2nd at the local nursing home. She was 94 and had been here with us for almost 12 years. She was to be buried in Spokane, Missouri next to her husband so it was a long week getting her shipped to Springfield and arranging the details. The weather didn't cooperate, as usual, for people from three states to come. The day of the funeral it was 15 degrees and snow. I thought my ears would drop off at the cemetery in the wind chill of 2 degrees.

Got home last night about 10p.m. after the 1200+ mile round trip.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. Unforunately, as unavoidable as death is for us all, it is never easy to deal with the loss of those we love so dear.
