Default How many Green Label R6550Ks were made?

I purchased a Colt AR-15 some years ago. I didn't shoot it much until I
retired in August of 2010. The rilfe came with a Colt .22 LR conversion kit
and I shot it at gophers about once a year. I was at the range last summer when a Vet noticed the rifle had no bayonet lug. He said he had not seen one
like that. The Green Label states Colt AR-15 A2 Gov't, Mod
Complete with .22 LR conversion Kit
ser# gs009478
I know it was made in 1989. I would like to know if this model is quite
common or not so common. Thanks, D. lehfeldt
