Default Tax Time

I know taxes can be stressful for some, especially if uncle sam claims you owe him money after taking from you all year long..

This'll help take the edge off..

Got an appointment to do my taxes tomorrow at one. Maybe I can use this tactic. But that's only for rich folk.
That right there is funny JLA. Love it, and how true.

H&R Block sends us a free CD every year, updated to reflect new tax laws. We file e-tax returns. Any mistakes, IRS quickly sends us an email, points out the mistake, and we send it back to them. The mistakes in the past, all of them, have resulted in us getting back more money.

Not a bad deal, eh?

Cost me 30 bux to do my taxes and its audit proof. meaning theyve already had a 3rd party look it over before the IRS signs off on it.

I've done taxes since 1978 but am pretty much retired now, I do a few here and there.

I get TurboTax Premier for mine, I can do one FED + STATE included plus 4 more additional FEDS.

I still do a few freebies generally using TurboTax Free e-file (just my favorite, used it for years) FED FREE and STATE costs about $14.95, not a bad deal.

Our credit union has free TurboTax for members. Works pretty good, but I don't have a complicated return.

Next year, if I'm lucky, it might get more complicated, as the new business kicks off.
