Only going to 94 today! And should get rain the next few days! And highs in the 80s by the end of the week! And, best of all, no hurricane to break the heat cycle!

I'm up here in Central Illinois where it's been as high as 107 on my truck thermostat. We've had no rain in months. I went fishing this morning for the first time since we got here. It was the first time the temp was predicted to be under 90. It actually got to 94 by 1 pm. The lake was so low, I had to put the rear wheels of my truck under water to get the boat deep enough to float it off the trailer. First time in 20 yrs. I had to do that.
The water temp. was 87 deg's. The poor bass were suspending in 10-15 ft. of water with lock-jaw. I was lucky to get 6 but only 1 was over the 15" limit.
