Default Political signs--an observation

Had to go to the range today to measure a bay. Last 3 miles or so are
on a rural road, lined with vineyards, wineries, wine tasting rooms and
transplanted liberals.

4 years ago, this stretch of road was a gauntlet of Obama yard signs and
banners.

Today I paid attention---NOT ONE.

Started really looking on the way home. 19 miles, part light urban,
part rural. NOT ONE Obama yard sign. Half a dozen Romney/Ryan.

This is in a county not too far south of Portland Oregon, which typically
votes fairly far to the left.

I think someone is in trouble come election day. Good.

they opened an obo campaign office in my sleepy little town two weeks ago. most i've ever seen in it are 4 cars. then again, the one's who'll vote for him are the ones with no job, no car, getting their stamps and section8. Oh yeah,an obophone also.

Maybe, but I doubt it. It's more about how much Money Obama and Romney are spending in each State than how the public is going to vote. Money means free yard signs.

Here in the land of the Liberal Loonies, Obama is spending very little as he has this State locked up. Tons of signs for the Left wing local candidates but only a few Obama/Biden signs mixed in. Most if not all of these Obama signs are left over from 2008.

Romney gave up on MN and spends zero dollars here. He doesn't even have a campaign headquarters anywhere in the State. No free yard signs, not even a bumper sticker. The Romney signs you do see either come from neighboring Wisconsin (free) or like me purchased on-line for $25.

The lack of yard signs doesn't mean these Left Wing, Tree Huggin, Socialists are not going to vote for Obama, more than likely it means they are to cheap to buy a sign, ashamed to tell the world that they still support the SOB or afraid of the Tea Party Clinging to you God and Guns and don't want to get shot.

Last week I was in the great state of Wisconsin, off the interstate traveling some of the state roads to my pick up point. I happened to notice along this one particular road I was on that it seemed to be lined with political signs, and that the Romney/Ryan signs outnumbered the Obam/Biden signs by at least 10 to 1, maybe even more. Yesterday traveling through Indiana, again off the interstate and on state roads, the political signs favored Obama/Biden over Romney/Ryan by a similar ratio.
This seems to be contrary to everything that that I had been led to believe about a states political makeup through the years past. I'm not making any aspersions, only reporting observations.

Noticed on a motorcycle ride last Saturday... Same thing on rural road in North central Florida... Around Live Oak, Mayo, Steinhatchee...

Same thing here in SC.
Last election Obama signs everywhere. This election maybe 100:1 signs for Romney; (even in strong democrat neighborhoods).
