Another memory I've gotten from writing about my experiences in the Gulf:

Does anyone remember how some people would get strange bright orange, red, or purplish stains on their brown t-shirts?

I don't remember this happening in Basic Training or AIT, which I did at Ft. Bliss in a similar desert environment, but I do remember it ruining a few of the t-shirts I had, and I remember others that continually had to deal with the problem. Does anyone else remember this, or have pics? Does anyone remember this happening in other places besides the Gulf?

I am curious as to whether or not it may have been some type of chemical reaction to something we were exposed to over there.
