Default I can't believe it!!

I just bought 2 (two) S/A milspec 1911's for $900.00 total.

I paid $400.00 for one & got the other for $499.00 on AA.

Nice deal, Berto! Are you going to leave them stock or build them into custom jobs?

Not sure, one of'em is like new in the case and the other shows some wear.

The worn one may get some attention but just enough to spruce it up a bit.

I prefer them stock.

Berto, On any used 1911 I buy, first thing I do is inspect all springs and install what is needed. Usually only a recoil spring.

It's amazing how much difference replacing the springs can make, Shooter. I once bought a used 9mm S&W auto from a friend of mine for a pittance. He said the pistol was unreliable and basically not worth the powder and shot to blow it to hell, which is why I got it for less than $100. Anyway, I ordered up a full set of replacement springs from Wolff, completely stripped and cleaned the pistol, and then replaced all springs. When I took it out to shoot, it functioned flawlessly. I later sold it for $350.00.
