Dang! The air is getting awfully stale in here! We need to open the doors a little more often, reckon?

I may be brain-dead today, but I'm sure some of our quick-witted brothers & sisters can come up with something to put in here.

We do have a lot of good quick witted people on here but they seem to be busy. Must be the summer sun they are after.

In the mean time, you can do it berto........think of something funny that you remember happening or doing when you had a chance to go in the clubs or PX or where ever you had a chance to recoup a bit.

You just come on over to this side of the board and vist any time that you would like.

Pull yourself up one of those old ammo crates , careful now.....pick one that will hold together and visit a spell.

We do like company!

After 9 Division went home from Dong Tam in 69 some Aussie units were stationed with us and the engineers & the 335 AHC.

One was the 135 AHC (combined). It was Aussie Navy helicopter pilots along with American Army troops. And there were some Aussie Marine advisers. which went with us on our searchlight missions occasionally. Anyway, One night one of the Aussie marine advisors and I were getting loaded at a Special Services
floor show.

One of the young engineer Lts was of to the side and in front of us and was bald headed, soon remarks were made about the glare off his head and I (stoopid) yelled at him to put his hat on and quit blinding us.

Needless to say, my ass was booted out of bed by my Lt. first thing in the AM. I was ordered to report to the Engineers Orderly room and to this Lt I had Insulted.

I was required to officially apologize in front of Orderly room staff and his unit commander.

After that, my backside was thoroughly ragged without letup for about 20 min.

O yea, I couldn't attend shows at their club for 2 months. OWCH!

O Well, I guess I had fun cause I can remember it. lol
