What does everyone think the best firearms priced under $400 are??

I lean towards the :

Makarov 9mm & SKS rifles. Very durable and reliable.

my SKS, i could shoot that all day long . . . and my gp100 4 incher .357 magnum, bought used for 300 bux

Call me crazy, but I like shooting my SKS more than the AK.

Argentine Systema Colt Modelo 1927.....if you can find them.

I used to have alot of fun with affordably priced shotguns "Mossberg" that were under $400....

I don't know that too many people like to go shotgunning though?

Best is tough to determin. Mine is a Rem 870 I got used for $225.

Star 9mm BM, from Aim Surplus or J and G Sales, $140,with a spare mag that's worth $20, so the gun itself is $120. Used ($150)Browning Buckmark .22, or the Phoenix Arms HP22($80, used) if you favor a pocket gun for fishing chores, etc. And an sks for fighting ($150), and a Nagant bolt for hunting big game.
