Default Professional Hunter

I have a Taurus Raging Bull "Professional Hunter" .454 in Black Stainless and have yet to see or hear of another one. Does anyone have information on how many of these were made or the value of the revolver?

The Original Raging Bulls are still among America's favorite hunting handguns. Chambering the popular and powerful 454 Casull rounds and are built for a lifetime of tough use. Offering award-winning designs in four distinct barrel lengths, these monsters feature a crisp trigger break and smooth pull for accuracy, cushioned grips and factory porting to reduce felt recoil. This is a rare model built in September 1998 and it's called the Professional Hunter, it's in Black Stainless and was one of 1000 made like it.

MSRP was around $800; recently a couple have sold in very good condition for between $460 - $500.
