Default Veteran shoots intruder with gun carried during Korean War

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/05/09...#ixzz1uOHXGupx

A true good news story. I lost my uncle 2yrs ago, and right up until the day he went into the nursinghome his M1 Carbine was never far from reach.
Rest in Peace Uncle Ervin, Your Greatly Missed!

Outstanding story.

Tanker? Gun in the drawer? I'm guessing 1911...

My hero. Yea, most likely a 1911. Surprised he had a neck left. Probably hard to swallow.

As the saying goes never mess with an old man. He will just kill you. Some member has that under his post's. I guess it pretty true.
