I have a H&R Model 999 Sporstman. It has adjustable sights front & rear. Walnut grips. According to serial no., it was made in 1951. Anyone know what it is worth? Condition is about 80%.

Without pictures, I'd go out on a limb and suggest $250 - give or take $100. No offense, but people's perception of "80%" varies all over the place.
Collector interest in 999's does seem to be increasing, though, and 1951 is still pretty early for them, so if I am wrong it is probably on the low side. Just my $.02. Last edited by Lanrezac; 05-09-2012 at 06:04 PM.. |

I bought one here in north central Pennsylvania for $400 recently that was mint condition.
I had a very hard time finding one. But this sounded in the ball park for this firearm. So I would say $250-400 depending on condition. Just a thought ... God bless!! PP |
